Admissions
The hardest partis the first call.

The Lake is for people who need serious clinical care and cannot afford to be seen seeking it — executives, professionals, public figures, and anyone for whom privacy is not a preference but a requirement.
We make itas easy as possible.
Our admissions process is designed to remove every barrier between you and the care you need. No waiting rooms. No intake paperwork in a public lobby. No exposure of any kind.
From your first inquiry to your arrival on property, our team handles every detail — insurance, transportation, clinical coordination — so that your only job is to show up.
The Process
Four steps.Complete discretion.
A call leads to an assessment. An assessment leads to a plan. A plan leads to arrival. From there, the work is ours to carry with you — not yours to manage alone.
01
Confidential Inquiry
A brief, private conversation with our admissions team — by phone or secure message. No forms, no databases, no exposure. Just a conversation about where you are and what you need.
02
Clinical Assessment
A thorough evaluation conducted by a licensed clinician. We assess your history, current needs, and any co-occurring conditions to determine the right level of care and build your initial treatment plan.
03
Insurance & Financial Review
Our team handles insurance verification and financial coordination discreetly. We work with most major carriers and offer private-pay arrangements for those who prefer complete confidentiality.
04
Arrival
Private transportation can be arranged from anywhere in the country. You arrive at The Lake, meet your care team, and settle in. The work begins on your terms, at your pace.

Common Questions
What peopleoften ask us.
How private is the admissions process?
Completely. Your inquiry, assessment, and stay at The Lake are protected under HIPAA and our own strict confidentiality protocols. We do not share your information with anyone outside your care team without your explicit written consent.
How quickly can I be admitted?
In most cases, we can complete the assessment and arrange admission within 24 to 48 hours of your initial inquiry. For medical detox, we can often move faster. Call us and we will tell you exactly what is possible.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We work with most major commercial insurance carriers. Our team handles all verification and coordination on your behalf. For those who prefer to pay privately, we offer discreet financial arrangements. Visit our Insurance page for more detail.
Can I bring personal items?
Yes. We encourage clients to bring personal items that support comfort and continuity — books, clothing, photographs. Our admissions team will provide a full packing guide and answer any specific questions.
What if I'm not sure I need treatment?
That uncertainty is one of the most common things we hear. Our clinical team is experienced in helping people understand where they are and what level of support makes sense. There is no obligation in a conversation.
Can family members be involved?
With your consent, yes. We offer structured family programming as part of our residential program. Family involvement is always at your discretion — never assumed or required.
